PADS — PUBLIC ACTION TO DELIVER SHELTER
PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) is FCC’s commitment to serving the homeless population in our Community. We serve as a Sunday evening, Men-Only Shelter from October through April each year. Our site provides a hot dinner, overnight lodging, breakfast and a sack lunch each week to thirty guests. Teams of volunteers cover the four nightly shifts and provide a welcome home for our guests. Each Sunday, our site needs 15-20 volunteers to staff the four shifts. For more information on the shifts, please click HERE.

Sunday Shift Volunteers
Volunteers are asked to work one Sunday per month for a two or four hour shift. More information on Shift duties can be found here. Recruit a friend or family member to serve with you!
Please contact Aaron LaBreck, PADS Manager at 708-351-2199 or email to volunteer.
Our Food Teams provide a hot dinner, and items for Breakfast & Lunch. Dinner teams provide and serve a hot meal for 30 men, and clean the kitchen after the meal each Sunday night. Breakfast and lunch teams purchase and deliver grocery items to the church for those meals. Each team is contacted early in the week and is given a shopping list or information on beverages needed. Sign up for meal teams is done through our PADS Food Coordinators. Please contact Betsy Hanzelin at 708-798-2800 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to volunteer.
