May 9, 16 & 23

Following months of diligent preparation, we are glad to welcome you into the Flossmoor Community Church sanctuary for in-person worship trials and are taking every precaution for your safety. The Sanctuary has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, seating is distanced, facial masks are required, and hand sanitizer is available in abundance!

For the safety of everyone, we ask you to observe these protocols:

BEFORE WORSHIP

  • Registration is required; you must sign up online to attend. The Diaconate Board will reach out to those who we know are not online to assist with their sign-ups, but if you know of someone who may need help, please feel free to reach out yourself and assist them with signing up. Registration will open at 10 am on Monday mornings, prior to the following Sunday. Click the button above, or register HERE.

DURING WORSHIP

  • Please remain masked while participating in responsive readings.

  • Please refrain from singing along with hymns.

  • The collection plate will not be passed in the pews or brought to the altar. Please place your contributions in the offering container found in the Narthex.

  • Restroom use is limited to the facilities in the Narthex and Fellowship Hall.

  • At the conclusion of the service, we request you use the side aisles to exit through the side doors, as you are able.

  • Following the service, you are welcome to visit with others on the lawn in fellowship.

ADDITIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  • Sign-ups to attend worship will be first come, first served. Upon your arrival, sign in and receive a name tag at the table in the Narthex that corresponds to the first letter of your last name prior to entering the Sanctuary.

  • Ushers will be present to open doors at all 3 outside entrances, and inside to guide members to their seats. Pews are roped off, with seating accessible every third pew.

  • The pastor and liturgist may remove their masks when speaking.

  • Fellowship time refreshments will not be made available until the CDC and/or IL state guidelines allow.
