Faith In Action & Resources
How Can I Help?
We strive to put our Faith In Action locally and globally. We welcome your action!
Each Thursday at noon, we host a free (and contact-free) Food Drive-Up in the parking lot of our Community House. The need is great and the lines are often long. We have a great time together bringing food security to our community. Please sign up for an hour, bring a mask, and join us!
I Need Help.
Flossmoor Community Church hosts a weekly FREE Food Drive-Up Thursdays at 12 p.m. until supplies run out. The event is held in the Community House parking lot and is contact-free. No questions asked, no ID required. Simply drive up, pop your trunk, and be supplied with fresh produce, dairy, meat and grain items.
FCC also financially supports Respond Now, a non-profit located in Chicago Heights, which provides assistance with utilities, rent, food, and transportation expenses.
If you are a member in need of Pastoral Care
or discrete aid, please contact Pastor Julie Van Til directly at email@example.com.
Stephen Ministry is a lay ministry which provides one-on-one confidential Christian care to members of our congregation or community who are going through a difficult experience or season in life. Whenever a ‘hurting’ person could benefit from a confidential, non-judgmental, faith-filled listening companion, Stephen Ministry is available. Our trained caregivers emphasis is on listening rather than on problem-solving or “curing”.
FCC is a praying congregation and believes in its power to make a difference in lives and the world. Please let us know if we can be in prayer for you or a loved one by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
