Flossmoor Community Church is seeking a joyful, community-minded Choir Director who believes in the power of music to connect people, deepen worship, and create something meaningful together. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, organized director able to inspire participation and musical excellence among singers of all experience levels, enhancing Sunday worship and special services through diverse and meaningful repertoire. The Director plans and conducts rehearsals and performances, collaborates with the Music Ministry Team Lead, supports and recruits choir members, and oversees the accompanist and choir resources.

Our choir typically participates in worship from September through May. This is a part-time, exempt position requiring regular rehearsals and approximately 16 Sundays of performances plus liturgical holidays.
